Melony Patrick, 60 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Orlando Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born on January 2, 1963 in Asheville, NC. to Joyce Smith and the late John Smith.
She made her home in Birmingham, AL since 2005. She resided in the Fort White, FL area most of her life before moving to Birmingham.
She worked for Sam's Club for 27 years. She started as a skater and worked in every position until becoming a Market Asset Protection Manager in 2005.
She was very creative and devoted to spending time with and loving her family.
Survivors include her mother Joyce Smith, Lake City; her husband of 42 years Mark Patrick, Birmingham; 2 sisters Julie Johnson, Lake City and April Parnell, Lake City; 2 children Chad Patrick (Brooke), Cullman, AL and Jeffery Patrick, Lake City, FL; 3 grandchildren Lucas, Logan and Lily Patrick; and Buddy. Her brother JD Smith preceded her.
Memorial Service will be held at Christian Heritage Church in Lake City, FL on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
Donations to St Jude in lieu of flowers.
Refreshments to follow in fellowship hall. 159 SW Hudson Lane, Lake City FL 32025
She has been cremated and her ashes will be spread at a later date.
