Funeral service for Melvin Delgado, age 62 of Orlando, will be held on Friday, August 31,2012 at 10:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 30,2012 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home.
Melvin passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 06,1950 in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico to Julio Delgado and Teofila Santiago. He was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his Wife, Carmen Torres of Orlando; Daughter, Darleen Delgado of Orlando; Son, Melvin Delgado of Georgia; Daughter, Melanie Delgado of Orlando; Brother, Edgardo Delgado of Puerto Rico, and 8 grandchildren.
