Michael Lynnwood Cannaday Sr.

Michael Lynnwood Cannaday Sr., age 79, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. He was born in Olney, Maryland on April 14, 1944 to parents Dewey and Lura (Poff) Cannaday.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lois Anne Cannaday, two sons, Michael L. (Kimberly S. ) Cannaday Jr., William L. (Gail) Cannaday; two brothers, Billy J. Cannaday, David Cannaday; two sisters, Glenna L. Johnson, Laurita A. Long; three grandsons, Colin Cannaday, Zachary M. (Lindsey B.) Cannaday, Austin T. Cannaday, two granddaughters, Ashley E. Cannaday (Brent Plansinis), Kaitlyn A. (Jonathan) Jusino; five great-grandsons, Nathan Jusino, Mason E. Jusino, Braiden R. Jusino, Nolan M. Jusino, Patrick M. Plansinis; and one great-granddaughter to be; Baby Girl Plansinis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dewey E. Cannaday, mother, Lura G. Cannaday, sister, Christine S. Cover, Brother, Dewey E. Cannaday, Jr., sister, Betty L. Stearns, brother, Franklin D. Cannaday.

Michael was a devoted family man who loved spending time with all of his family and friends. He was a kind soul who was loved by all who knew him and he will be forever loved and missed.
