Michael Wayne "Mike" Chambers, 66 of Orlando, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013.
Mike was born July 1, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of El Roy and Velma (Eaves) Chambers. He was a graduate of Lake City Community College and Florida State University. Mike was a retired Major with Orange County, FL Corrections and also worked as Assistant Superintendent at Orange Regional Juvenile Detention Center
Mike was preceded in death by his father, El Roy Chambers and his brother, Richard Chambers and is survived by his loving wife, Ingred Lee (Myers) Chambers; daughters, Shannon G. Roe and Kristen D. Vaaler; sons, Kevin R. Chambers and Brandon R. Chambers; mother, Velma L. Chambers; sister, Eloise D. Julian and grandchildren, Benjamin A. Roe, William Roe, Alice D. Vaaler and Gray R. Vaaler.
