Michael J. Couturier

Michael J. Couturier, age 78, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. He was born in Traverse City, MI on May 24, 1943 to Leon Couturier and Edith Belanger Couturier. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service. He went on to a career in Civil Service and retired after 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his his sister, Jackie Tooley and sister, Patricia Otto. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Van T. Couturier, daughter, Chandra Kersey, son, Paul M. Couturier, sister, Mary Bugai, sister, Audrey Bugai, sister, Carol Kahle, brother, Carl Couturier, sister, Edith Zimmerman and 6 grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Orlando. Interment with US Navy Honors will follow at 1:30 pm at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando.
