Michael E. Mumby, age 68, of Orlando, FL, passed away in his home due to complications from his long battle with Parkinson's Disease on Friday, February 1, 2019.
Michael was born on November 23, 1950 in Sodus, NY; son of the late Eliud and Myra (Wells) Mumby. He was a banker, and later after relocating to the Central Florida area, retired as a math teacher. On August 26, 1972, he married Elizabeth (Rice) Mumby. They were both members of Faith Assembly of God in Orlando.
Besides his loving wife of 47 years, Elizabeth, Michael is survived by his two biological sons, Steven Mumby and his companion, Crystal, Christopher Mumby and his wife, Kristin; a daughter Lisa Mumby Quinto and her husband, Gerard; Geoff White, who he loved like a son and his wife Katherine; three grandchildren, Nathan M. Mumby, Theodore Mumby, and Elijah Gregory White; and two sisters, Eileen Berges and her husband, John, and Patricia Pykare, and her husband, Michael.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Assembly of God, Michigan Street Campus, 2740 E Michigan St, Orlando, FL 32806 on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 4:00 pm.
