Michael Nelms, age 47 of Orlando, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2005. He was born to Alvin Nelms and Dorothy Thomas on November 17, 1957 in Orlando. Mr. Nelms served in the US Army and was a postal carrier. He is survived by his wife Karen Nelms; daughter Elisha Nelms, setp-son Nick Berezo, step-daughter Allie Berezo and a sister Cheryl Lokey. Mr. Nelms is also survived by his nieces Jessie Lokey, Jenna Lokey, and a nephew Jake Lokey. Visitation for Michael Nelms will be held on Friday, September 30, 2005 from 5-9PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, East Orlando. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 2PM at Highland Memory Gardens, Forest City.
