Michael Thomas Owens, 64 of Orlando, FL passed away on November 9, 2023.
Michael was born on November 13, 1958 in Haines City, FL. A long time Orlando resident, he worked in the construction field for 30+ years on roads & highways as an Operator of heavy equipment, an Iron Worker; an Insulation Installer, and as an Estimator and Seller of materials for home building and restoration.
He also served proudly in the United States Army National Guard Reconnaissance, Scout Platoon for 12 years which during that time he reached the rank of Sargent. He was very proud and honored to have served his country.
Michael loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing time with his family and friends while sitting around a campfire.
Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Owens; and by his parents: Walter Owens Jr. and Barbara Rainey. He is survived by his brother, Walter "Buddy" Owens; his sister, Brigette O'Neal and her husband Raymond and many friends.
At Michael's request, no services will be held at this time.
