Michael Patrick Powers

Michael "Mike" Patrick Powers, age 53, passed away Friday, April 15th, 2022, from medical complications in
Orlando, FL. Mike is survived by his soulmate, Wendy Powers. They have shared 31 years of marriage together.

Mike was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts on February 27th, 1969, to Jean Panfil and Roland Powers. His
father passed away early in his life, after which he and his mom relocated to Buffalo, New York. Mike and Wendy
were married on August 16th, 1991. Along with Wendy, Mike is survived by four daughters, one son, two
sons-in-law and seventeen grandchildren. His children in age order are Ashley Sutton, Amanda Dobbs (Jason
Dobbs), Cortney Powers, Lauren Whitehead (Christopher Whitehead), and Dylan Powers. Mike's seventeen
grandchildren know him as Papa and Wendy as Mema.

Mike and Wendy lived in Melbourne, FL for the last several years. Mike was an all-around handyman, but most
recently he spent his days working as a landscaper. Mike and Wendy spent their non-workdays escaping to the
beach as often as life allowed. The beach was Mike's favorite place. On their workdays the two started and ended
every day with one another. Mike and Wendy would sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, make one another lunches with
love notes, recount their workdays and tuck each other in every evening. Soulmates never had a truer meaning.

Walking through their home, one will find, at first glance, random items. If you look closer, each 'random' item
starts to represent a personality. Mike was who he was, with no apologies. Mike embraced his Irish roots and
among what remains of his physical possessions, was an Irish saying:

Our Family is a Circle of Love and Strength: With every birth and every union, the circle grows. Every joy shared adds more love. Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger.

His family will channel each other's love and strength to help heal after their shared loss. We love you, Papa!
