Michael Victor Reyes

Mr. Michael Reyes, age 83 of Orlando, Florida passed away on December 24, 2023. Michael was born in Saint Joseph, Trinidad and Tobago on July 8, 1940. He graduated from John Donaldson Technical Institute where he received an associates degree.

Michael worked as a welder and pipe-fitter for many years. He managed his own business in Trinidad, and worked for numerous companies both in Trinidad and in the United States.

Michael had a passion for soca music, playing the steel pan, and his family. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Gerard, his cousin, Davidson, and his parents, Randolph Reyes and Iona Reyes Dickerson.

Michael is survived by his previous spouses, Janet Reyes and Ann Reyes, his children Victor, Martha, Michelle, Darcy, Kishon and Monique, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind family members in Trinidad, including Franklyn Reyes and Jocelyn Dickerson.

Funeral arrangements will include a viewing held from 1pm-3pm followed by a service from 3pm-4pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando Florida.
