Michael Louis Ruggeri was born July 28, 1947.
Michael loved bringing joy and entertainment to everyone who met him, and he remembered their names.
At age 12 he read, How to Win Friends and Influence People which shaped his people skills. Skills he would use throughout his life. He lived as a Singer, Songwriter who performed as Mike Boyd in Houston, Texas then as a Music Producer Mike Roggers in Nashville, TN. Although Mike played 11 musical instruments, he never considered himself a musician, just an entertainer.
At age 17 and 105 lbs. was a Jockey until he was drafted. Michael served in the Army during the Vietnam conflict in 1966 as a Medic. Vietnam shaped much of his life. He perfected his guitar skills as a soldier making that his career when he returned Home a solid 145 lbs. of muscle, He was too big to be a jockey, but strong enough to "Trick Ride" Ponies for fun.
Mike had a personality that drew people to him. He managed several nightclubs and those people skills he learned very young made every patron feel important.
He was the oldest of three children and is survived by his two sisters Linda Lou Huggins and Kathy Jo Hessberger and his three children, daughter Melissa Koo, two Sons Michael and Joshua Ruggeri.
