Micheal Stephen Smedley

Micheal Stephen Smedley, 64 of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 after a long battle with COPD. He was born on January 13, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona to Abner Lafayette Smedley and Lucille Chadbourne Smedley. He grew up in the surrounding towns of Phoenix and then moved to Altamonte Springs in 1986 where he retired after 45 years in the Automotive Bdy and Paint Industry.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Karen L. Smedley of Altamonte Springs.He was the cherished father of son, Stephen Michael Smedley of Harbor City, CA; daughter, Josette Lynn Tierney and her husband, Kevin of Anchorage, AK; son, Joshua Michael Aaron Smedley and his wife, Dawn of Orlando, FL; daughter, Samantha Lucille Ann Jenkins and her husband, Jeff of U.S. Naval Base, Mayport (Jacksonville), FL; sister, Peggy Biossey of Bay City, MI.
He was a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren, Sean Tierney, Ashley Smedley, Natalie Simmons-Jenkins and Nicholas Jenkins.
His smile, love of children and joy of life will be missed by all who knew him. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.
