Migdalia Ruiz, age 66, of Sorrento, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.
She was born on May 22, 1957 in Yabucoa, PR, daughter to her parents, Miriam (Medina) and the late Mario Ruiz.
Besides her by mother, Miriam Ruiz of Orlando, Migdalia leaves cherished memories to her five children, Dalia Ivette Wright and her husband, Willie, of Sorrento, FL, Jessie Vega-Torres and her husband, Carlos, of Apopka, FL, Magdiel Vega and his wife, Ashley, of Orlando, FL, Javier Vega of Winter Garden, FL, and Melinda Perdomo and her husband, Miguel, of Tavares, FL; eleven grandchildren, Ibeliz Wayman, Dejour Vega-Wright, Emoni Vega-White, Rafael Gonzalez-Vega, Magdiel Vega, Lyric Torres, Lymari Vega, Magdiel Vega, Zamaya Martinez, Daniel A. Medina, and Dominic De Leon; five great-grandchildren Alayah Makhayla Sterling, Sederick Marquel Sterling, Sayori Dalia Nieves, Azaria Migdalia Jamileh Vega, and Zyrell Jacion White; her brother, Mario Ruiz and his wife, Maria, of Staten Island, NY; and two sisters, Maritza Concepcion and her husband, Albert, of Staten Island, NY, and Ivette Ruiz and her husband, Carlos, of Orlando.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mario Ruiz.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando.
Services will be livestreamed by clicking here and will be available to view for up to 90 days after the service.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
