Mildred 'Millie" Harlan passed away unexpectedly, at her College Park home in Orlando, Florida on March 25, 2022. Millie was born June 25, 1923, in Easley, South Carolina, the daughter of Carl and Etta Cummings.
Millie graduated from Union High School in Leslie, Georgia. After high school she worked at Clinic Drug Store in Americus, Georgia where she met her husband, Edward Earl Harlan. They were married March 28, 1945. They settled in College Park, Orlando, Florida. They were happily married for 45 years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Earl who passed away on September 30, 1987.
Millie is survived by her son, James Carlton Harlan, of Orlando; daughter, Bobbie Adele Marsden, of Orlando; three grandchildren, Moriah Kaplan and her husband Jack Kaplan, Troy Harlan and his wife, April Harlan, Jerrod Harlan and his wife Marissa Harlan, twelve great grandchildren, Gage, Austin, Grayson, Natalie, Morgan, Ty, Parker, Jack, Hayden, Fontaine, Axton, and Auvi; one sister, Linda Cobb, of Leslie, Georgia.
Millie will be missed by all who knew her. To know her was to love her and she was loved beyond measure.
Visitation is Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm with funeral service on Friday, April 8, 2022 starting at 11:30am, all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
Graveside committal will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
