Woods, Mildred "Granny"" Louise- Age 96, passed into the hands of our Lord on Saturday, October 22nd at Winter Park, FL. Mildred was born on January 23rd, 1909 in Bluefield, WV where she worked as a clerk at Russell's Grocery Store. She was an active member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Her favorite projects included dressing dolls for children at the Salvation Army, making items for residents of the Duvall Home and painting Christmas village houses to give her loved ones. She was famous for her "Cornbread" and kept her church family well supplied. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Woods and is survived by her son Bill Cole, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating Mildred's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26th, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1655 Peel Avenue, Orlando, followed by a reception at the church.
