Mildred Louise Morris Wimberly-Saggus, 92, a lifelong resident of Orlando, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 22, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Frank Saggus; children Walter (Linda) Wimberly, David (Jackie) Wimberly, Diane (Steve) McCoy, and Sandy Kaider; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 stepchildren and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Marvin Wimberly; son, Eugene Wimberly; grandson, Jason Kaider; and granddaughter, Leanne Talshahar.
Mildred was known for her hospitality, extensive creative skills, and especially her delicious cooking. She became an extra "Grandma" to many young families who lived far from their extended families. She loved others well. Her sense of humor and love of laughter remained until the end. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of Life service will be held on February 28, 2022, at Dover Shores Baptist Church, 551 Gaston Foster Rd., Orlando, FL, at 10:00 am, visitation with the family at 9:30 am. The service will be livestreamed at DoverShores.live. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando.
