Mildred Jeanette Zapata, 76 of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
She was born on January 9, 1939 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Jose Vidal Zapata Gonzalez and Adela Vazquez who have both preceded her in death. Mildred was a retired bookkeeper and served as a community liaison for many years. She was a member of Path Finder Church in Winter Park.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette Vega, Mildred Batka and Diane Calo; sister, Coro Torres; grandchildren, Joseph Batka, Rudy Batka, Selma Abdul and Hamza Abdul and her great-granddaughter, Natayla Dotson.
