Miles N. Simmons, age 85, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018.
He was a native Floridian raised in Conway. Miles served proudly in the US Marines during the Korean War. He loved bluegrass music, gardening, family, and his grandkids.
Miles is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred Calhoun Simmons; his son Jeffrey, his daughter Pam (Danny); his grandsons, Geoff and Danny II; his granddaughters, Jessee, Lacey (Jay), and Katey; and six great-grandchildren.
His grandson Jared preceded him in death.
Funeral Services are Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at Liberty Baptist Church, 744 North Dean Rd., Orlando.
Visitation will precede the service from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
