Minerva Garcia Acevedo, age 65 of Orlando, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was born in Moca, Puerto Rico on July 11, 1951 to Pedro Garcia and Trinidad Acevedo Garcia.
She is survived by her husband, Eliodoro Rivera; children, Rafael Rivera, Orlando Rivera and daughter, Margarita Rodriguez; grandchildren, Melissa Rivera, Orlando A. Rivera, Lisette Rivera, Ezequiel Rodriguez, Isabella Rivera, and Josiah Rodriguez; brother, Miguel Garcia, sister, Carmen Vazquez, sister, Margarita Ruiz, brother, Francisco Garcia, sister, Luz Crespo, brother, Alejandro Garcia, brother, Alberto Garcia, sister, Annie Sierra, sister, Julie Mendez and Janie Santiago.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 13 at St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church, 4695 S. Conway Road, Orlando. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando.
