MSgt. Robert Lloyd Keehbauch, USAF (Ret.), 82, departed this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Winter Park, FL. Bob was born on December 28, 1934 in Leaton, MI to the late Bernhardt and Magdalena Bender-Keehbauch.
Bob was raised in Central Michigan and shortly after graduating high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force, serving 21 years until his retirement in 1974. Following his honorable service, Bob led a successful career in the electronics industry.
He truly appreciated the gift of life, and some of his many hobbies included: playing a good round of golf, coaching Little/Babe Ruth League, bicycling, gardening, watching sports, traveling, hanging out at his favorite spot "Disney World", but most of all spending quality time with his family and friends. Bob will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Barbara; son, Scott Keehbauch (Bridgette); daughters, Debbie Lamb (Jerry), Kelley Raybon (Shannon) and Jenni Keehbauch; also sister, Catherine Hollenbeck; five wonderful grandchildren, Caitie, David, Carley, Ben and Zach; and his canine companion, Charlie.
Interment with full military honors will be held at 11AM on Friday, March 17th at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
The family will greet friends from 10:30AM to 11AM on Saturday, March 18th at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando following with a Celebration of Bob's Life at 11AM.
