Myra Sue Latalian, 81, of Orlando, passed away on September 6, 2023 at Certus Senior Living surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 6, 1941 to John and Mary (Autry) Henry in Wauchula, FL.
Myra worked as a Purchasing Clerk for Orange County Public School Board in Orlando, FL for 35+ years.
On November 21, 1980, she married Everett Hollis Latalian at Conway First Baptist Church in Orlando. Myra and Everett continued to live in Orlando, FL until both of their passing.
She was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church (now called E3 Community Church) and was a devout Christian. She was actively involved in her church, leading Sunday School, monthly visitation, singing in the choir and lending a hand wherever she could until her health restricted her from the things she loved. Her love for cats not only stretched to her own cats, but also to strays that roamed around her home. She took care of the stray cats like they were her own by taking them to the vet and attending to all their needs.
When Myra retired, she volunteered at Florida Hospital East Orlando (now called AdventHealth East Orlando) and loved to assist in all departments of the hospital, but especially the Radiology Department.
Myra loved her family and extended family equally. Her favorite pastime was keeping up with all the family and extended family member's birthdays and sending out cards that were filled with love. Christmas time was her favorite time of the year. She loved to wrap each member's present with extra love and an excessive amount of scotch tape.
Myra is survived by her Daughter, Debra (David) Curnes, Daughter, Cynthia (Stephen) Darnell, Daughter, Dawn (Jim) Mancuso, Brother, John William (Phyllis) Henry, 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Hollis Latalian, Father, John Richard Henry, and Mother, Mary Virginia Henry.
