Myron Pirozek, 73, of Orlando FL, formally of Dobbs Ferry NY, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 23, 2020. He was born May 6, 1946 in Flensburg Germany at an American Refugee camp to Anton & Olga, parents who proceeded him.
Myron joined the Marines Corp in 1966, serving two tours in Vietnam, in which time he received a bronze star for his bravery.
Myron worked for Exxon Mobil after his duty for 38 years, retiring in 2011 to Deposit NY. Myron soon became a snow bird enjoying winters in Orlando FL, before making it his home in 2019. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including: hunting, fishing, fly tying, gardening, golfing, but most of all making memories around a campfire with his family.
Myron wed Mary Ann Pecylak October 7, 1972, who survives. He is also survived by his son Nicholas Pirozek, daughters, Natalka (Christopher) Citro, & Christina (Jeffrey) Pirozek, mother-in-law Ksenia Pecylak, brother Roman Pirozek, and many nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in New York at a future date.
