He was surrounded by his wife, five children and his baby sister.
Nabil was born to Selim and Augustine Assal on May 17, 1947. He had two brothers, Basheer and Joseph and has two sisters, Marie Josephine and Therese.
Nabil's heart belonged to woodworking and the solace of the mountains, and camping every chance he gets.
He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his wife of 52 years, Huguette Assal; his five children, Monique Tsitas (Stephen), Nicole Baroni (Matthew), Christopher Assal (Lyndsey), Natalie Myslinski (John), and Micheline Gonzalez (Angel); his three grandchildren, Adam Baroni (Hannah), Trevor Baroni, and Nathan Myslinski; his two great-grandchildren, Avery Baroni and Jocelynn Baroni; and his two sisters, Marie Josephine Sabanegh and Therese Nouh, along with all his nieces and nephews.
