Natalie Montesano passed away on July 7, 2016 in Orlando, FL from heart complications. She was 42 years old.
Natalie was born on October 17, 1973 in Dayton, OH to her parents Barbara and Christopher Murray. She graduated from University of West Florida with double degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis in Forensics. She later graduated from University of Central Florida with a Master of Arts in Social Work. Natalie last worked for the Public Defender's Office in Orlando, Florida where she enjoyed advocating for mental health services for inmates within the criminal justice system.
Natalie Montesano was a kind, giving, public servant who advocated for those who weren't in a position to help themselves. She was a staunch animal lover throughout her life starting with her first love "Chazar" the Samoyed at Grandma and Grandpa Murray's house, continuing through a lengthy list of kitties, a special bunny, and even a baby squirrel that she nursed back to health to successfully release back into the wild. Her latest loves were her three beautiful cats, whom she referred to as "her babies".
Natalie is survived by her Mother and Step-Father, Barbara and Butch Helmick in Enterprise, FL, her Father and Step-Mother, Chris and Diane Murray in Vandalia, OH, her Sister and Brother in Law, Dawn and Ed Sibby and their four daughters, Katelyn, Julian, Jade, and Justice Sibby In Temecula, CA, her Step-Sister, Katrina Helmick and her children, Michael, Ellianna & Julianne in Pointciana, FL, her Uncle and Aunt, Lee and Stephanie Murray, and cousins Eric & Craig in Murrieta, CA, her Aunt, Nancy Baker and cousins, Amanda, Ashley, Autumn & Alexis in Dublin, OH, her Uncle and Aunt, Tim and Vicki Cardwell and cousins, Cory & Conner in Plant City, FL with many unnamed but still cherished second and third cousins.
Natalie Montesano will be cremated and remains laid to rest in Pensacola, Florida in a private ceremony.
