Nellie M. (Howard) Houghton, 73 of Orlando died Oct. 27, 2008 in the comfort of her home. Nellie was born on March 17, 1935 in Glocester, R.I. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Richard W. Houghton Sr.
She is survived by her 10 children, Ann Rivera of Winter Springs, FL, Richard W. Houghton Jr. of Maysville, GA, Barbara Clements of Jacksonville, FL, Lois Taylor of Orlando, FL, Joyce Baswell of Tavares, FL, George D. Houghton of Kissimmee, FL, Donna Madlock of Douglasville, GA, Debbie Bishop of Orange City, FL, Sherrie Wasley of St. Cloud, FL and David W. Houghton of Orlando, FL ; 29 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren; sister, Lois Divencenzo and brothers, John, Walter, Jason, Harvey and Willard Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thur. Oct. 30, 2008 in the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral Home.
