Nellie Marie was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to Frank and Mary Etta. She joined her older siblings Bill and Wilma then became the big sister when Don, Martha and Lou were born.
She was the mother of three: Denny, Jan and Don.
Nellie was called Grandma by her grandchildren: Norm, Dusty, Shelley, Denny, Melissa, Scott, Amanda and Adam. She was known as Meemaw or MeeMee by her great-grandchildren: Brandi, Brock, Ashlynn, Mathew, Ian, Riley, Jordan, Abbigail and Levi.
She loved crossword puzzles, the Game Show Network and ginger ale. Her grandchildren will remember that she made the best grilled cheese sandwiches and always had Andes mints to share.
Her cremains will be buried next to her husband, Dr. Frank L. Mauler, at Oaklawn Cemetery located at 4991 Co Rd 46A, Lake Mary, FL 32746. There will be a graveside service held at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 28th, 2017.
