Nicole "Nikki" Rawlinson Holtom, 48, of Apopka, Florida, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Nikki has a husband, Douglas; one daughter, Laurel, age 18; her parents Ron and Jean Rawlinson; her sister D'Ann Rawlinson; her in-laws Terry and Nancy Holtom; her sister-in-law Natalie Holtom; her niece Ansley Brown; aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends; and her three dogs Emmie, George, and Archie.

Nikki was born July 2, 1973, in Manhasset, New York. Her family relocated to Central Florida in 1976 after her father left the U.S. Air Force. She graduated from Lake Mary High School in 1991 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida in 1996. After college, Nikki started her career in anthropology, excavating sites across Florida. In 1997, she met Douglas Holtom in Orlando, Florida, and they married in March 2000. Nikki worked in the human resources benefits administration industry for more than 20 years. She was an implementation requirements analyst for Aon Hewitt and Alight Solutions.

She was an avid reader and animal lover who enjoyed new adventures. Nikki was a kind soul who loved and supported her family members. Above all else, she cherished her daughter and their close relationship.

Nikki is deeply missed and loved. Her infectious laugh; playful spirit; love of holidays, decorations, and baking; and strength and compassion will live in our hearts forever.

A private funeral service for her family and close friends will occur on December 11, 2021, at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha , Fl. 34734
