Nora M. Howell

Nora Mae Howell, age 91, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away at her home on Monday, November 12, 2018. She was the widower of the late Robert Lee Howell.

Nora was born on May 31, 1927 in Amarillo, TX, daughter of the late Rubertic Cadmus and Allie Esther (Porterfield) Law.

Nora is survived by her son, William "Bill" Howell; her two daughters, Barbara Howell, and Diane Zayas; five grandchildren, Melissa Tanzler, Michael Quinones, Adam Zayas, Chrissy Abney, and Philip Howell; nine great-grandchildren, Christian Tanzler Guzman, Sophia Tanzler Guzman, Aimee Quinones, Emmarie Zayas, Alexandra Zayas, Michael Abney, Lauren Abney, Brendan Abney, and Gavin Howell; and one great-great-grandchild, Sadie Marie Sulecki.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral Services are Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Orlando), 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822 with Pastor Dwayne Adams, officiating.

Visitation will precede the service on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Vista Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
