Norma Jean French George, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Rod and Beth Amos; grandchildren Kent Amos, Ethan Self, Drew and Brittany O'Brien, Justin and Samantha Cutshaw and Joseph and Kathryn Brown; and great grandchildren Aubree and Rosetta Cutshaw, Lyyrik O'Brien and Ava Brown. Also, her beloved sister Barbara Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas George and her daughter, Anne George Self.
Norma was a devoted teacher for over 40 years, as well as an active member in the church. She spent her retirement enjoying time with family and many good books.
Private services will be held by the family.
Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
