Norma A. Swift, age 71, of Deltona, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at her home in Deltona.
Norma was born on October 9, 1950 in Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada, daughter to the late Arthur and Georgina (Ryland) Young. She spent her years working in administrative capacities before her retirement.
Norma spent a lot of time travelling, or daydreaming with Dave about where they were going to travel next. The family would like to challenge her friends to find a historical marker that Norma and Dave have not read. Dave and Norma traveled to 49 states and 10 provinces of Canada. They were able to see a lot of both these beautiful countries, and meet a lot of nice people who became good friends.
Norma is survived by her husband, David Swift, of Deltona, FL; her Son, Michael S. Doersam and his wife, Angela, of Rhina, GA; two grandchildren, Autumn Neal-Doersam, and Timmy Doersam; her sister, Sylvia Foley and her partner Ches, of Ontario, Canada; her brother, Harvey Young and his wife, Arlene, of Newfoundland, Canada; and her step sons Darryl Swift and his wife Rhonda and Doug Swift and his wife Ariane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Harold T. Doersam, Jr.
