Norman Jay Lewis was born January 10, 1964 in Carthage Mississippi to Annie Lewis Cowherd and the late Jay Lewis. He resided in Orlando Florida.
Norman graduated from Meadowdale High School in 1982. Upon graduating he joined the United States Army. He was currently employed as a System Support Center Operations Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration in Orlando.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Lewis; step-father Joseph Cowherd, two brothers, Johnny and Ricky and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; sons Norman Jr., Kenneth Haggins, Mack Gaskin Jr., and Jacarr Gaskin; daughter Flavvia Darces; mother, Annie Lewis Cowherd; sisters Annette (Earnest) Hayes, Kattie (Randy) Wakefield; brothers, James and Christopher Lewis; granddaughters, Madison Lewis, and Aiyanna Marmol; grandsons, Joshuah Marmol Jr., Flavvian Marmol, and Kenneth Haggins Jr.; special niece Tyesha (Chance) Davis; nieces Christina Marie Lewis, Christina Donna Lewis, Christal T. Lewis; nephews, Richard Wilson, Christopher V. Lewis, and Christian Paul Lewis; best friends, Charles Rountree and Matthew Sprouce; and a host of cousins, friends, aunts and uncles.
