With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Olga Martinez Perez, who was called to her eternal rest on November 2, 2024. Born on December 25, 1944, Olga was a gift to all who knew her—a constant source of warmth, kindness, and joy.
Olga dedicated her life to helping others, serving as a nurse in the ICU at the Regional Hospital of Caguas, Puerto Rico, for over 20 years. Her commitment to caring for those in need was not just her profession; it was her calling. Known for her unwavering compassion, she provided comfort and hope to patients and their families during their most challenging moments. Her gentle touch, calming presence, and ever-present smile brightened even the darkest of days.
Beyond her career, Olga was the heart and soul of her family. She leaves behind two daughters, Olga Roman and Jaqueline Andujar, who carry forward her strength and kindness. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who remember her as a devoted matriarch whose love was boundless and whose spirit was unbreakable. Her family, friends, and community will forever miss her laughter, her charisma, and her endless love.
Olga Martinez Perez touched countless lives, reminding all who knew her of the power of love and kindness. Though she may have departed from this world, her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she cherished.
A service to honor her memory will be held on Tuesday November 12, 2024, 4pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando, where family, friends, and loved ones will come together to celebrate a life beautifully lived.

Natural de Salinas, Puerto Rico, Olga dedicó su vida a ayudar a los demás, sirviendo como enfermera en la UCI del Hospital Regional de Caguas, Puerto Rico, durante más de 20 años. Su compromiso con el cuidado de los necesitados no era solo su profesión; Era su vocación. Conocida por su compasión inquebrantable, brindó consuelo y esperanza a los pacientes y sus familias durante sus momentos más difíciles.
