Onixe Portacio, 68 of Orlando passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009. She was born in Colombia and moved to Central Florida in 1998 from New Jersey. She retired from Myron Manufacturing in Maywood, N.J. and was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Orlando.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Sowa of Orlando; sons, Alfonso Portacio of Davenport, FL and Jose Portacio of New Jersey; former husband, Alfonso Portacio of New Jersey; brothers, Luis Angulo of Hollywood, FL, Alvaro Angulo of Atlanta, Ga, Andres and German Angulo both of Miami, FL; sister, Gilma Angulo of Colombia and 5 granddaughters, Alyssa Sowa, Nichole Sowa, Mallory Sowa, Paige Portacio and Piper Portacio.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando.
