Otilia Rivera, age 87 of Oviedo passed away Mon. May 15th. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she resided in Bridgeport, CT. until and moved to Central Florida in 1999.
She is survived by daughters Nora Garcia of Oviedo, Lucy DeJesus of The Villages, FL, son, Jose "Chico" Rivera of Bridgeport, CT, daughter Iris Martin of Winter Park and son, Hector Rivera of Salem, OR; brothers, Jose Garcia Jose Monserrate Garcia and Rafael Garcia all of Puerto Rico; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Teresa Rivera in 1989; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2006 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 PM on Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando with a Wake service at 8:00 PM
