Otto was born April 5, 1931, on Easter Sunday, to Steven and Elizabeth Mihalik in Easton, PA. His Hungarian father came over to this country via Czechoslovakia and his mother was a 2nd generation Hungarian born in the USA. His mother was an accomplished pianist. Otto's parents owned an ice cream and sweet shop where Otto began his love affair with ice cream sundaes.
In high school he was a top athelete and was also an avid golfer and bowler. He met his wife of 28 + years, Harriet, in 1978 in Miami while bowling for his Eastern Airlines team. He worked as a senior flight attendant for 32 years and he and Harriet and stepdaughter Tiffany Bowen traveled the globe.
But the most important experience in Otto's life was his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was always willing to serve the Lord in any way he could at his church, Goldenrod Baptist, or in his neighborhood or in the community. He was loved by many for that reason.
He had an older sister Sylvia who passed away in 1988. He is survived by his wife and stepdaughter and nephew Chris Carmen and cousins Andrew and Mary Magyar.
