Pamela Beth Migliaccio, age 70, of Winter Park, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022.
Pam was born in Dumas, Texas, to the late Robert L. Dale and Nelda Fern Dale. She grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma, and attended Oklahoma State University. Pam met Richard "Dick" Migliaccio through a mutual friend in Tulsa in 1979. After a long-distance courtship, Pam and Dick married on February 28, 1981, and moved to Florida in 1983. Pam and Dick raised their children in Winter Park; all three were born in Winter Park Hospital and later attended Winter Park High School.
Pam's true passion was being a mother. Raising her three children was her primary goal in life, and she accomplished it beautifully. As a mom and a person, she was kind, compassionate, patient, loving, open-minded, and supportive. Becoming a grandmother was the natural progression and a joyful blessing for her.
Pam and Dick have been longtime parishioners at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Pam found many of her close friends through the playgroup at church. She was a member of the bell choir and the singing choir for many years; she found joy in music throughout her life. Pam infused her love of country music, especially Garth Brooks and the (formerly Dixie) Chicks, in at least two of her children. She enjoyed reading mysteries, crocheting blankets and scarves, and attending Moss family reunions every summer over the Fourth of July weekend. During her nearly 40 years in Florida, Pam made frequent day trips to the beach to search for seashells. More recently, she booked regular trips to visit her grandchildren and granddogs in Minnesota, New Jersey, and South Florida.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Richard Cecil Migliaccio, daughters, Amy B. Pavlick and Rebecca M. Cardoso, son, Andrew J. Migliaccio, grandchildren, Selma Fern Pavlick, Griffin E. Pavlick and Eliza R. Cardoso, and her brother Charles R. Dale. She is preceded in death by her older brothers, Terrell K. Dale and Gary L. Dale, and her granddaughter Sienna James Cardoso.
Visitation is Friday, July 8, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
