On Wednesday April 22, 2020, Patricia Welch, loving mother, daughter, and friend, passed away at the age of 71.
Pat was born on December 24, 1948 in Winthrop, MA, to Iris Dodson and Pasquale Antonellis.
She became a registered nurse in Massachusetts, and worked in the medical field. In 1985, Pat met the love of her life, Carl Welch. Pat and Carl decided to leave the cold and move to Orlando, Florida in 1991. Pat had such a passion for the medical field that she went to work at Lakeside. Pat worked in the Business Office at Lakeside as the Business Manager until she retired in 2017. Pat was an incredibly fun spirited woman. Pat loved playing board games, Uno, swimming at the pool, cooking, and making people happy with her infectious laugh. Pat always went out of her way to help others which gave her great joy.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Welch, and father, Pasquale Antonellis, and step-father, Richard Dodson. She is survived by her mother, Iris Dodson of Melbourne, FL; her daughter, Lisa Poisson of Woonsocket, RI; and step-son, Sean Welch, of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Dodson, of Maine, and sister Paula Adams of New Hampshire; her seven grandchildren, and all her friends.
