Patricia D. Blume, age 70, of Debary, FL, formerly of Apopka, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood. She was the beloved widow of the late Arthur W. Blume.
Patricia was born on September 27, 1950 in Leslie, GA, daughter to the late Doc Earl and Emmie Elizabeth (Holt) Gillispie. Patricia and her family moved to Central Florida in 1983 and she worked mostly as a paralegal for a local law firm before she retired. She loved to crochet, cook and loved her Florida Gators. She was excited when she finished her paralegal degree in college. Patricia was an extremely hard worker, friend, grandmother and mother!
Patricia is survived by her son, Rick Blume and his companion, Megan Tucker, of Debary; her sister, Nell Nutt of Ellaville, GA; two granddaughters, Cassandra Greene and her husband, Nick, and Savannah Blume; and one great-grandchild, Kellin Greene.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; and a brother, Charles Gillispie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Rd 434, Longwood at 6:00 pm.
Visitation with the family will precede the service from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
