Patricia Anita Smith, age 80, of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Orlando, FL.
She was born on June 25, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL; daughter to her late parents, Oscar and Dorothy Wilson. On January 26, 1963, she was married to her husband, Christopher.
Patti was a member of First Baptist Orlando for over 40 years. She was an active member of her Life Group Bible Class, she and Chris were active Sunday School teachers side by side. Most importantly, she was a loving wife and mother, devoted nannie, and Aunt Patti to so many.
She will be loved and greatly missed by so very many family members and dear friends. To know Patti was to love her.
Patti is survived by beloved husband of 61 years, Christopher Smith of Orlando; three children, son, Christopher Smith, Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Austin, TX, daughter, Kimberly Lennon and her husband, Bill, Jr., of Orlando, and son, Robert Smith and his wife, Laurie, of St. Cloud; nine grandchildren, Christopher Smith, III, Chance Smith, William Lennon, III, Megan Smith, Zane Lennon, Taylor Smith, Amanda Smith, Matt Lee Lennon, and Marshall Smith; five great-grandchildren, Kaybree Smith, Demi Smith, Karmen Smith, Ashton Smith, and Maddox Smith; and her sister-in-law, Karla Wilson of Quitman, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Bobby Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Orlando - Henry Chapel, 3000 S. John Young Pkwy, Orlando, with Pastor David Uth officiating
Visitation will precede the service on Friday, January 26 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Henry Chapel.
Interment will be in Drawdy Rouse Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
