Mr. Patrick Lee Crocker, age 70, passed away at his home in Sanford, Florida on Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born on May 24, 1948 in Patuxent River, Maryland to parents Andrew Forest and Dorothy Lee (Woods) Crocker.
Patrick was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, retiring as a Senior Chief after over 24 years. During his time in the Navy, he bravely served his country in both the Vietnam and Desert Storm conflicts. He also distinguished himself by being awarded numerous medals and badges, including but not limited to, three Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbons, two awards for Pistol Marksman, a National Defense Service Medal, a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and a Navy Achievement Medal. His military education achievements are also extensive, such as courses in Naval Aviation Quality Assurance, Structural/Hydraulics, AV Maintenance Control, and Logs and Records. He was an invaluable asset to his country, and his faithful service will be commemorated by both the Navy Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard at graveside service being held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 12:30 PM.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Crocker; mother, Dorothy Lee Bottoms; son, John Andrew Crocker (Ashley Myrick Crocker); daughter, Dawn Michelle Crocker (Jamie Hannah); son, Fredrick James Ross (Hez Miller); son, William Paul Ross (Lydia Ross); granddaughter, Kaley Nicole Ross; granddaughter, Briana Icie Carter; Khiya Diane Carter; granddaughter, Alyssa Ryann Ross; granddaughter, Mia Dawn Crocker; granddaughter, Evelyn Grace Ross; grandson, Jackson Reid Hannah; brother, Randy Crocker; brother, Dave Crocker; as well as numerous friends, all who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Forest Crocker.
