Patrick was received into God’s loving arms on the morning of February 17, 2025, in hospice care following a courageous battle with liver cancer. Born in Charlestown, West Virginia, Patrick embraced life with an adventurous spirit, traveling across the country from his youth through his adult years.

A proud veteran, he fought in Vietnam and served honorably in the Navy’s submarine division. Patrick’s passions extended to the golf course, where he competed in many tournaments, and to the racetrack, caring devotedly for a racehorse he once owned. His career in the entertainment industry in Orlando, Florida, further exemplified his vibrant and engaging personality.

Patrick is lovingly remembered by his only son, Brandle P. McKown, and his cherished grandchildren, Aslan and Isaiah McKown. His legacy of service, adventure, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.
