After graduating from Northwestern they went to Southern Rhodesia, Africa where they served under The Evangelical Alliance Mission.
Paul's main ministry was Radio Recording through which he provided tapes for airing over the Rhodesian Broadcasting Corp. and later on Trans World Radio from a short wave station in Swaziland. They served as missionaries in Rhodesia for twenty-five years. He later worked two years as an engineer/English newscaster at TEAM's station Radio Victoria on the island of Aruba, followed by ten years working at TEAM headquarters in Wheaton, Illinois.
Paul was loved and appreciated by all who knew him. He always had words of encouragement; valued and loved each person as they were. Because he was such an important part of his family's lives, he will be greatly missed. Ham Radio was his favorite hobby. He was also an accomplished carpenter and enjoyed aviation. Paul's underlying passion in life was that all might come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
