This week the worst thing happened to the most amazing man I've ever known. Paul Andrew Gren was taken from us far sooner than any of us were prepared for. It is my hope that somehow good will come from such a tragic event. I and all who love him are unclear what that good may be. At 54, life was better for Paul than it has ever been. His life was good, his health was good, and he was in the most wonderful, zen place.
I wanted to incorporate some of the single words that those of us left behind would describe him as. However there are too many words to fit into the narrative, so I'm simply going to list them one by one..
Provider, Rockstar, Extraordinary, Dynamic, Legend, Best Dad Ever, Most Interesting Man in the World, Unique, Intelligent, Generous, Always Living Life to the Fullest, Goofy, Comedic, The Man, Kind Hearted, Super Frigging Smart, Always Looking for Another Adventure.
And for me personally…
Soul mate, best friend, beautiful, kindest, hockey loving man.
Please leave us your words of Paul.
At a later date their will be an open house at the families residence to celebrate Paul's life.
