He was a graduate of Thiel College, and was in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946. His parents were Frederick William and Margaret Costello Landfried. Siblings, Harold Landfried, Florence L. Schnee, Margaret L. Slagle and Virginia L. Burns (all deceased). He was a retired Antiquarian Bookseller. He was married to Shirley S. Landfried. Beloved parent to Claudia Landfried, Tracy Landfried, Melanie L. DeCosta, Victoria L. Barkman and Nicholas Landfried. At peace after a long illness, he passed away at home with his loving family around him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Orange and Osceola County, 4111 Metric Drive, Suite 4, Winter Park, FL.
