Pearl E. Laws

LAWS, PEARL EFFIE YANDLE, Age 85, of Orlando, FL passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007. She was born in Coolidge, GA to Madison Ezell Yandle and Penny Florence Cone. She joins her husband of 60 years, John F. Laws, as well as her parents, and 8 brothers and sisters who all preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Rene (Ed) Hendrickson, Wilmington, DE, and two sons, Dennis (Kris) Laws, Melbourne, FL, and Philip Laws, Chuluota, FL. She is also survived by seven (7) grandchildren, and twelve (12) great-grandchildren. Yet, with all this family to love, she had two favorites, PJ and Sissy, her beloved cats.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Even after retiring from OCPS as a Food Service Manager, she still loved to spend time trying new recipes from the Food Network (esp. Paula Dean) She also found a great amount of pleasure in completely spoiling her great grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her and her cooking dearly.

The family will accept friends from 11AM to 1 PM at Newcomers Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando on Friday, November 23, 2007. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 23, 2007 at 1PM with burial immediately following at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2424 Harrell Road, Orlando. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
