Philip W. Bradstreet, 94, of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida died peacefully at his home with his wife by his side.
Philip was born on February 15, 1927 in Gloucester, Massachusetts to the late Richard Harry and Hazel Margaret (Walen) Bradstreet. He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Bradstreet, his first wife, Marie K. (Coombs) Bradstreet and his son, Jeffery Bradstreet.
He was a World War II veteran. He wore many hats during his life. He was a ship's captain in California, a police officer in New Mexico, a dock worker in New York, a streets commissioner in upstate New York and he worked for Mears Transportation in Orlando, Florida.
Philip is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia L. Bradstreet. They were married on December 14, 2014 out at sea. He is also survived by his family: Son: Mark (Denise) Bradstreet, grandson, Matthew (Nikki Anne) Bradstreet, great granddaughter, Nona Grace Bradstreet; Son, Scott (Janice) Bradstreet, grandson Eric Bradstreet, granddaughter Amber Bradstreet and 4 great grandchildren.
