Phyllis A Siam

March 13, 1937 — March 19, 2025

Phyllis Siam of Orlando FL passed away on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at 88 years old. She was born in Worcester MA in 1937. More than 67 years ago she married Abraham Siam who loves her to this day. They began building their family in 1960 with the birth of their firstborn son, David, who predeceased her in 2021 after a long illness.

As long as we can remember, she loved all things Disney. In her younger years she loved babysitting and ice skating, her passion was drawing and listening to records, her first outdoor concert was Perry Como. She loved to draw and used to spend hours at the art museum drawing the sculptures. She loved crafts, taking photos and putting together photo albums, reading a good mystery, and later she enjoyed painting furniture and conquering crossword puzzles. She attended the Chestnut Street Congregational Church when she was younger, she and her mom sang in the choir and she was active in the college business group, and at this church is where she met the man she would marry. Together they loved to go dancing, visiting with friends, and vacationing. She made many friends at her church and places of employment who remained an important part of her life. She worked at Sears Service Center for many years prior to moving to FL, retired from Harcourt Brace and Jovanavich in Orlando, and then volunteered at the community library where she lived. She and her husband fostered children in their home for a time in MA. She always loved children, she adored and was adored by her own, and was always there with an open heart with whatever any of us needed. She was dearly loved by her family and friends, always happy to help those in need, and gave with a gracious heart. She will forever be cherished and missed by those she loved and those who loved her.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Abraham, her daughter Cheryl from Massachusetts, her youngest son, Michael and his wife Karen who reside in Florida, and David’s wife Becky of Massachusetts. She also leaves her grandchildren, Heather, Shannon, Stephen, Shane, and her great-granddaughter, Cyra, her brother Chester and his wife Joyce, and many nieces and nephews.
