Pierce Alexander Forquer, 27, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carole Cross Forquer; his maternal grandparents, Francis Thomas Cross and Florence Evelyn Harper Cross; and his paternal grandparents, James William Forquer and Marguerite Mongait Forquer.
Pierce is survived by his father, James Peter Forquer; his older brothers, James Whitney Forquer and Trent Steven Forquer; his nieces, Suttyn Nicole Forquer and Cecilia Ann Forquer; his nephew, Hayden Timothy Forquer, and his cherished dog, Koda.
Pierce graduated from Lake Highland Preparatory School in 2014. During his time at LHPS, in addition to excelling at academics, Pierce was a lead trumpet player in the marching band and the concert band, president of the Project Magic service group, a member of the first archery team, and a selected member of the first Outdoor Odessey leadership group.
Pierce graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics in May 2018. He was the trumpet section leader and featured soloist in the UF Gator Marching Band and the Basketball Pep Band and was also student ambassador in the UF Involvement Team.
Following graduation from the University of Florida, Pierce worked for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Inc. for two years, supporting Wind Turbine Projects, and also pursued his passion of cryptocurrency investing. He was a member of a private venture capital firm, which made direct cryptocurrency investments in various projects.
A celebration-of-life ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Lake Highland Preparatory School at the Charles Clayton Middle School Campus in The Bourne Family Chapel, located at 741 N Mills Ave, in Orlando.
