Rachel Houser, beloved mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 82.
She was born in Apopka, FL, to the late, Willie and Ella Mae (nee: White) Casteel. She was a hard working waitress in many restaurants around Orlando. She worked at Lamar Hotel Lunch Counter (1950's), Chastains, Ronnie's, Menendez, and Red Lobster. Her life was devoted to her children who loved her without end. Our lives will be forever changed and she will be dearly missed.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Thomas Houser; children, Sherry (Mark) Sylvain, John Young, Terry (Deena) Houser, Michael (Malissa) Young, and Michelle (Lenny) Cole; grandchildren, Shawna (Kristian) Brooks, Nicole Lemelin, Kimberly Cole, Kaylee Cole, Rachel Tiffany Young, Zachary Young, and Elijah Young; great grandchildren, Morgan Brooks, Ryan Brooks, and Karter Cole.
Visitation is Saturday September 19, 2015 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
