Rae Mona Grueninger

Rae Mona (Falzone) Grueninger, age 82, of Winter Park was born on November 2, 1936. She passed away peacefully at Advent Health Hospice Care in Altamonte Springs, Florida on Saturday, June 6, 2020 after brief, but devastating illnesses.
She was born in Moberly, Missouri to Raymond and R ose Falzone. She moved to Florida after marriage to Paul Grueninger. She lived in her beloved Winter Park for more than 50 years. She was an elementary school teacher at Lakemont Elementary School for more than 30 years. She had two master's degrees from Rollins College.
In her twenty plus years of retirement, she enjoyed her yard with its plants, trees, flowers and wildlife. She especially loved cats and birds. She made sure no animals went hungry in her neighborhood.
She also doted on her children Mark Douglas (Karen) Grueninger of Tavares and Sheryl (Chris) Connolly of Titusville and her grandchildren, Sean (Michelle) and Lauren Connolly. She is survived by one sister, Rosie Rhodes.
Per her wishes, cremation with ensue and a small private memorial will be held at her home, time to be determined.
